Moored in Fuseta’s private marina, the Houseboat “Casa da Ria” is a self-sustainable and ecological boat, as it has the capacity to generate energy for all its equipment. With a modernist design, rationality of space, comfort, utility and good ventilation and lighting were prioritised, giving this boat a unique character. It is equipped for 4 people and is divided into two floors. The first floor contains the bedroom with 1 double bed and panoramic views from the balcony. The kitchen has a dining table and is equipped with crockery, a small cooker, fridge (with freezer drawer), coffee machine and microwave. The shower, washbasin and WC area are also on this floor. The dining table in the kitchen can be converted into a sofa bed with sleeping capacity for 2 people. The 2nd floor is characterised by its privileged view of the Ria Formosa, with a shaded solarium and sun loungers. The boat also has access stairs at the stern.

Is there parking near the check-in location?
Free public parking is available at the check-in point and the marina.
Can I pay by ATM?
No, payments must be made fully by bank transference until 48h after the reservation, otherwise your reservation is automatically cancelled.
Can I do payments by cash?
No. The only payment that must be done in cash is the deposit fee, during the check-in (100€, returned at the check-out).
Is it possible to exceed the capacity of the boat?
No, due to the legal licenses related to the capacity of the accommodation.
Is there hot water?
Yes, it has a water heater with a capacity of 100L.
Does the Casa da Ria Boat has capacity for 4 adults?
Yes, it is suitable for 4 adults. This boat doesn’t host children.
Is the service “Menu” always available?
Our Menus are available when reserved with at least 48 hours in advance.
Are pets allowed ?
No, on board the House Boat pets are not allowed, mainly for safety reasons for the animal itself.
Can I sail the House Boat wherever I want?
No, Barco Casa does not sail, it is moored in the Private Marina and does not move from there.
Can I do the check-in / check-out any time I want?
The check-in and check-out time will be provided by Passeios Ria Formosa, and must be respected.
Which equipment does the House Boat kitchen have?
The House Boat kitchen has a refrigerator (50 liters with freezer drawer), microwave and a coffee machine, in addition to the cutlery, serving dishes, glasses, pots and pans. If you want to cook you own meal the House Boat also has a small stove available.
What can I find in the surroundings of the House Boat?
Next to Barco Casa is the village of Fuseta, where there are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes. A fishing village known for its customs and traditions.
Can I visit the beaches at this time of year?
Yes, we have a Water Taxi service (additional cost) that can be requested at any time during your stay.
